Celebrating creativity and the natural environment, the Mountain Longleaf Festival continues to grow. An estimated 3,500 to 4,000 people from three states enjoyed the art exhibits and demonstrations, sunshine, live music, great food, children’s passport stations, live animals, fresh market, archaeology exhibits, plant sales, environmental and ecotourism booths, games, rides and more at the third annual Festival at the Historic Warehouse District of McClellan or Longleaf Village.
Through direction and support from the McClellan JPA and sponsorships from Noble Bank, Legacy, Inc., Sonny King Honda, Westinghouse, and many others whose generous contributions made this event possible, the children of Calhoun County benefited through the Boys and Girls Clubs, LINC and JSU Field Schools.
Please put the 4th Annual Mountain Longleaf Festival on your calendar for April 19, 2008. With this type of extreme success, now is never too early to begin planning!
