ECC Wins Contract to Remediate Former Fort McClellan

The McClellan Joint Powers Authority (JPA) awarded a contract for munitions and explosives of concern (MEC) remediation to ECC, a construction, environmental remediation, and munitions response firm headquartered in California's Bay Area.

As part of the contract's first task, ECC will identify, remove, and dispose of MEC from a 132-acre section in the southern portion of the Alpha munitions response area (MRA); optional tasks span four other munitions response sites within the Alpha and Bravo MRAs.
