Cane Creek News

The first meeting of the Cane Creek Homeowners Association was held in January 2004 at the golf course. The meeting was very well attended by the majority of the residents of Avery Drive and Littlebrandt Road.

Items of discussion included the budget for the association, issues that affect the homeowners, and an election of officers for the board. Two of the homeowners were elected to the board, Suzanne LaRocca and Richard Tatum.

Some of the issues affecting the residents were the lack of street lights on Avery and Littlebrandt, the need for street repaving, and signage for the park limiting access to residents and guests and limiting Cane Creek liability.

Construction continues on Avery Drive with the last two homes scheduled for completion within the next few weeks. The three houses scheduled for demolition by the JPA were discussed. That plot of land will be reclaimed as greenspace which will be a pleasant location for nature lovers.
