Cane Creek Residences
This area includes a combination of existing housing units and potential new development sites that includes both single-family and multi-family units.

Historic Buckner Residences
This historic housing area includes renovated single family housing in a high quality historic neighborhood.

A Planned Retirement Community
Economic analyses have highlighted the striking demographic trends that will affect senior age groups over the next 25 years. There is an opportunity for McClellan to exploit these trends by establishing, with private sector developers, a planned retirement community. The community would be aimed at the Southeastern United States and would support the State of Alabama’s objective to attract increasing numbers of retirees to the region. The Reuse Plan identifies a 116 acre site for a Retirement Community.
