In honor of America's Military, the Fort McClellan Army National Guard Training Center will host an Armed Forces Day Celebration on Saturday, May 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., on Marshall Parade Field, Fort McClellan.
This free admission event, open to the public, will recognize all members of the Armed Forces.
All branches of the military will be represented. There will be various displays and booths featuring historical and present day military equipment; to include Armored and Wheeled Vehicles, Helicopters, Personnel Carriers, Artillery, etc. There will be many other events and activities for the entire family. Food vendors will be on site throughout the day for purchasing of hotdogs, hamburgers, popcorn, cotton candy, drinks and snacks.
The Alabama National Guard extends a special invitation to all Military and family members, along with community residents, to be a part of the special event to celebrate Armed Forces Day 2007.
Access to the Training Center is off highway 21 North in Anniston, Alabama. Enter through Galloway Gate and Marshall Parade Field is located just inside the gate.
