Joint Powers Authority

The JPA is an unincorporated nonprofit association organized
under the Alabama Unincorporated Nonprofit Association Act; an instrumentality of the City of Anniston and Calhoun County.

The Board is comprised as follows:

• The Calhoun County Commission Chairman
• Two Calhoun County Commissioners
• The Mayor of the City of Anniston
• Two City of Anniston Councilpersons
• Representative from the State of Alabama Governor’s Office
• Representative from the State of Alabama local delegation
• Representative from the local Council of Mayors
